I do it so automatically n...Hhmmm - good question. I do it so automatically now, I have to think about the answer.<br />Having your silks organised helps speed things up. Also, not using length of silks that are too long and get tangled as you stitch saves time.<br />I tend to work in sections (in the bus' case, determined by the embroidery hoop) and stitch the same colour for a block before filling in more detail with the next colour (if that makes sense). The first progress photo shows this best I think.<br />How much time all of these save, I can't say.
