It is pretty idyllic Hellen! The blue are grease bands to try and stop the apples become infested with maggots - they need renewing though. And my embroidery is in a special embroidery hoop on a stand that you sit on (?!). I'll try to photograph it so it makes more sense!

Looks perfect! What is the blue on the tree? And how is your cross stitch staying upright - it looks like it's levitating!
